Emma joined BECHA in May 2021 as their Interim Chief Executive and has since been appointed permanently to this position.
Emma has worked in the housing sector for 25 years, most recently as the Managing Director of a housing association which owned and managed 2,000 properties.
Mary has worked for BECHA since 2013 and is responsible for the housing management and maintenance services.
She is a very experienced housing manager and worked at senior level at one of the country’s largest housing associations for over 20 years.
BECHA’s finance manager since 2012, Nigel works to ensure the organisation is financially sound.
He maintains our medium and longer term financial forecast, manages our key relationships with our funders and advises the board on our financial strategy.
Nigel brings a wealth of experience from both the private financial sector, and also social housing.
Income & Finance Officer
Jackie is our longest serving member of staff, having originally joined BECHA in 2010 as part of our housing support service.
In May 2012, she moved to work in income recovery in a role which has grown over the years to incorporate various finance tasks.
Jackie brings experience in accounts and book keeping from her previous employment in the private sector.
Jim joined us in 2014 and looks after our properties.
He has responsibility for the overall repairs service and planning our longer term property investment needs.
Jim is a very experienced surveyor and has worked for a number of housing associations during his career.
Esmine joined in 2014 and works with our housing manager to deal with enquiries from residents and to provide our overall housing management service.
She is also an experienced housing professional with a local authority background.
