Clive Astall

Clive joined the Board in May 2013 and is a development executive from a mixed commercial/not for profit background who has latterly worked in the social housing sector. His wider business experience comes from a number of voluntary directorships.

He has previously been a member of the Board between 1992 and 2004 and for some of that time was Chair. He brings knowledge of BECHA and some history of the organisation.

Clive comes from a development background in social housing, working for Bovis and Hyde, latterly as the Development Director, and currently works for a large Housing Association in the Development side of the business.

Clive lives in Kent.

Caroline Boguzas

Caroline joined the BECHA board in 2018 and has worked in housing for over 30 years in both local authorities and the housing association sector. She was previously a Regional Housing Director at L&Q for 11 years managing large teams across London and the South East. She led on several stock transfers and community investment programmes and is passionate about providing good customer service to all residents. She now works as a housing consultant advising on service transformation and customer service culture.

Andrew Green

Having originally trained as a Quantity Surveyor, Andy has had over 25 experience delivering front operational services to residents. The bulk of Andrew’s career has been focused on Housing in South East London. Most recently Andrew was Housing Services Director for Hexagon Housing Association. Along with his role at BECHA, Andrew currently combines work as a Housing Consultant and studying music.

Stuart Ilsley

Stuart joined the Board in January 2015. He has had a career providing services to Housing Associations and a long background in customer services and contract management. He is currently Head of Customer Services with Town and Country Housing Group.

Maria Jacobs

Maria joined the board in November 2021. She has worked in the housing and not for profit sector for over 30 years in various roles in both large and small organisations. Maria says that she fell into a housing career early on following her own struggles to secure decent affordable housing for her young family in the borough of Bexley, which is where she still lives. She remains committed to the provision of decent and affordable housing for all.

Graham Littlewood

Graham joined the board in 2021.

He studied an LLB Law degree before completing the Bar Vocation Course and being called to the Bar. He spent 4 years working as a Solicitor’s Agent where he appeared before District Judges on behalf of private landlords and mortgage companies.

Graham has a career working for Housing Associations providing operational services across tenures. Graham has particular expertise in In-House litigation, ASB case management and tenancy fraud investigations.

He is also active in the voluntary sector as Chair of Greenwich Housing Rights, a Charity who provide legally aided housing advice to residents.

Paul Rosbrook

Paul joined the board in November 2019. Paul is a Chartered Accountant who has held a number of Finance Director positions with both plc and private housebuilders. He lives in Kent.

Richard Smith

Richard joined the board in January 2015. He has had a varied and extensive career in business, working as a Finance Director and a CEO. He has also been a member of his local Parish council since 1990 and is currently the vice Chair.

Daniel Skinner

Daniel joined the Board in March 2013 and brings experience of the legal aspects of housing to the Board.

Daniel is a solicitor and a Partner at Capsticks. He is ranked by Chambers and Legal as a top social housing lawyer in the South East. He is also Chair of his local Parish Council and chairs their Planning Committee.

In his spare time he is a Rugby referee, cycles and coaches two girls’ football team.

Daniel lives in Kent.
