Partnership working is very important to us. Our key partnership is with the London Borough of Bexley, who have, in the past, helped to fund us to develop some of our properties.
The local authority has the responsibility for determining strategic housing priorities in the borough and the majority of the people we house are drawn from their housing register.
We have a house in Glynde Road which is designed to support adults who are on the autistic spectrum and to help them prepare to live fully independently. We work in partnership with MCCH who provide support to the residents to make this happen.
Our contractors are key partners in helping us maintain our properties. We have a small panel of contractors who carry out work on our behalf.
As a small Housing Association, we have joined with a group of similarly sized associations, known as South East London Small Associations to share best practice but also to collaborate on some projects to achieve cost savings. Examples of these are a recent jointly commissioned stock survey. One of these partners carried out our 2015 Tenants’ Survey on our behalf.
