Introduce the Organisation
As a landlord we own and manage 136 homes for families and single people. However recently we have also diversified into the provision of housing support for Bexley residents with either mental health issues, substance misuse, are ex-offenders who are at risk of re-offending or residents living in vulnerable households. The purpose of this support is to help them sustain their tenancy and remain independent.
We have grown steadily since and we are now well established in the borough as part of the voluntary community.
The day to day running of the organisation is in the hands of the Chief Executive, who has six staff helping him provide the services. A Board of Management oversees the work and sets the strategy.
Our Mission
Our mission is to be a landlord and service provider of choice with innovative
quality services that are required by all those we serve, in order to support
the local community within which we work.
We aim to accomplish this by working with our own tenants and the housing support clients in order to ensure we continually meet their immediate needs and those of the wider community.
We also work closely with our key stakeholders, especially Bexley Council, holding regular talks with them so that we can be certain we can provide the expertise they require in order that they can meet their statutory obligations.
